We welcome parent and community volunteers at Barclay Primary School to help support and enhance the education of our pupils.
Our school programme relies on the support of volunteers to help in a range of ways such as with educational visits, organising events (Parent School Association – PSA) and in class.
New volunteering positions begin at the start of each term when we conduct a comprehensive induction programme to ensure volunteers are ready to take up their voluntary position.
If you are interested in volunteering on a regular basis, please contact the school office for a request form. To offer support in the classroom, you will also be required to complete a List 99 form.
To help on school trips, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
Every parent with children at the school automatically becomes a member of the Parent School Association (PSA). The PSA is involved in fundraising and organising community events. This supports our teachers to provide our stimulating environment that enhances learning. To get involved with events, please email the PSA at firstname.lastname@example.org.
