SCHOOL UNIFORM

Barclay School Uniform M&S are our current school uniform providers. Please click on the M&S link at the bottom of the page to order. School uniform is required for Barclay Primary School pupils.  All items of clothing should be clearly marked with your child’s name. Please ask at the school office for details of the labelling service available. Why do we have uniform? The Department For Education strongly encourages schools to have a uniform as it can: instil pride; support positive behaviour and discipline; encourage identity with, and support for, the school's ethos; ensure pupils of all races and backgrounds feel welcome; protect children from social pressures to dress in a particular way; and nurture cohesion and promote good relations between different groups of pupils. We take uniform infringements seriously - if there are occasions where your child will need to wear something that isn't in the policy - please speak to your child's class teacher as soon as possible.
